Experienced criminal defense lawyer serving Atlanta and Georgia

Attorney Tessie D. Edwards founded her firm with a commitment to standing beside people facing the criminal justice system. She is known as an aggressive advocate who fights to achieve her clients’ objectives, and as a compassionate counselor who takes the time to listen and fully understand each person’s situation.

Tessie built her career in criminal law. She served as an Assistant Solicitor General in Clayton County and an Assistant District Attorney in Fulton County, where she handled over 2,000 cases across a wide range of offenses. That experience gave her an in-depth command of how criminal cases are investigated, charged, and argued in Georgia courts, and how judges and juries weigh the evidence in front of them.

Today, Tessie and her team bring that knowledge to the defense of clients charged with DUI, drug offenses, violent crimes, and theft. They understand the statutory guidelines and legal precedent that shape how these cases are decided, and they use that understanding to protect their clients’ rights and pursue the strongest possible outcome.

Whether you are facing a first charge or a serious felony, Tessie and her team will make your priorities their priorities until your case is resolved.
